Perspectives

Call for Entries – A juried exhibition

Deadline – Feb 24th, 2018
Open to all media

Image Gallery is pleased to present sixxeight and their second pop-up show Perspectives, an ongoing exhibition series that allows a creative outlet for artists working in the fields of art, music and fashion. Here sixxeight will also have their annual live t-shirt screenprinting, as well guest performances by literary artist Lana C. Marilyn and musician Olin Clark

The intent of this exhibition will be to challenge the conditions that shape/color/feed our perspectives on our personal reality. We will select works that express in one form or another individuality and self-knowledge. This call invites a diversity of works that may otherwise not fit in a more rigidly themed exhibition.

Our exhibitions are designed to exist as a form – and forum – to carryout our mission. In doing so we bring visibility to emerging artists by providing venue to a range of artistic disciplines. These new artists display diverse types of media including but not limited to: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, graphic design, video and music. This multimedia approach will reach out into the community through a collective sense of curiosity that can unify.
